Careerco has their first event coming up: a company visit to I&O Research! Unfortunately, due to corona, we can only "visit" the company online, in a Teams meeting. On the bright side, this does allow for a way bigger group to join!

I&O is one of the main research firms for government and non-profit in The Netherlands. They conduct independent research in a number of fields, like election polls and public opinion on social issues. Currently, they are especially involved with research on public opinion and behaviour during the corona crisis.

I&O is currently extremely busy with the upcoming Dutch national elections and their corona research, so we're lucky they could make some time for us. Dutchies have most likely seen I&O in the news during the last months, some examples:

During the meeting, we will hear about the ins and outs of their research related to each of the four tracks in our 2nd year, they will shed light on their quantitative research, related to our 2nd year research course, and they will give insight on the conducting of elections polls. Although the company is Dutch, the meeting is in English and perfectly relates to non-Dutch topics as well!
